New iPhone 5 Video Confirms Bigger Display And Longer, Unibody Case

Today we get to see a new video with the alleged iPhone 5 back case. ETradeSupply have uploaded a video on Youtube where one of their team members is holding the case of an Apple smartphone.

This could be back the new iPhone 5, the iOS smartphone that might see the light of day this fall. The guy in the video makes a detailed presentation of the new iPhone 5 case and he insists that the new smartphone will sport a 4-inch display, 0.5-inch bigger than the one installed in the iPhone 4S.
iPhone 5 Design

The new video have unveiled that Apple has changed the design of the iPhone 5, now with a bigger hole for the camera, probably an 8 megapixel unit, a HDMI out, a new dock connector and a repositioned audio jack.
If the case is the real deal, then the new iPhone 5 would be thinner than its successor, just like we’ve told you in some previous articles. The new Apple gadget seems to be about 20% thinner and definitely taller than the iPhone 4S.

According to the guys over at Ubergizmo, the word is a source within the Big red has told the guys over at Cnet that the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Verizon Motorola DroidRAZR will finally arrive as of the 12th of this month.

However, of course one must realise that at time these unnamed insider sources can be somewhat unreliable, and word has come down before that the ICS update would hit the VerizonMotorola Droid RAZR soon in the past, but as yet hasn’t become a reality, so with that in mind there could be a possibility that the 12th of June is the date, but for now this should be treated as pure rumour.
Apparently according to said unnamed sources, the reason behind the delay in delivering the Android 4.0.4 update to the Verizon Droid RAZR is because they decided to bump up the update from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4, still as the 12th if roughly only a week away it wont be too long before we know for sure if the Verizon Droid RAZR will finally see the update. Are any of our Verizon Droid RAZR owning readers fed up with waiting for this update, if so feel free to express your annoyance to our comments area below.

  • backup/restore method similar to Absinthe and cinject
  • its traditional limera1n-based ramdisk install.  If you have a lot of media on your A4 device (music, movies, TV shows, etc), then the ramdisk method is preferrred because it avoids any possibility of later problems related to syncing to iCloud (including Photo Stream and Music Match).  The ramdisk method is not available for A5 devices or later because limera1n can’t be used.  If you’d like to use redsn0w’s ramdisk method, just be sure to put the A4 device in DFU or Recovery mode before starting redsn0w (otherwise it will immediately start to use the backup/restore method).

New Telecom Policy approved, Roaming charges to be abolished

The Cabinet has approved New Telecom Policy 2012 that would let telecom users avail free roaming across the country. It would also offer Full Mobile Number Portability (MNP) that would let the customers retain their number even if they shift from one circle to another, anywhere in the country without any extra charges.
This would introduce single license across India under a new unified licence regime and the operators doesn’t need separate license. Under this licensing regime, licence has been delinked from spectrum to reduce different licenses.
The new policy would separate licences and airwaves, allowing carriers to share airwaves. There is no time frame when the new policy would be implemented. Pricing and spectrum allocation would be announced later.

iOS 6 move to Facebook integration at WWDC 2012

Back in early May we posted an article about new features that may come to Apple’s iOS 6 and one of the aspects we discussed wasFacebook integration. This has featured in beta versions of iOS before but has never come to the final release and so it didn’t look too likely. However news today is that iOS 6 will move to Facebook integration and that we will be hearing more about it at WWDC 2012, starting on June 11.
This would be a hugely popular move demonstrated by the fact that since Twitter was integrated in iOS 5 people have used it more. A similar integration for Facebook makes perfect sense then and a report says that Apple and Facebook are indeed in talks and on the edge of a deal that would bring this to fruition. The deal would mean that Facebook assets would come to future iOS devices with iOS 6 integration and the same report also says that this is expected to be announced at WWDC.
