Cure for Samsung Galaxy S3 battery problems

The Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) smartphone has been as big a hit as many expected since its release and is still selling in huge numbers. Today we have news on a reported battery life issue with the Galaxy S3 and it seems that if you’re one of the device owners suffering from this problem then we could have details of a simple fix for you.

Earlier this month we told how some owners of the white Galaxy S3 had noticed some cracks on the back covers of their phones and it now appears that other customers have had problems with the Galaxy S3’s battery life. Samsung has responded by saying it will be issuing an update that should fix for the problems but it seems that a simple fix may already be available. The fix does not require a software update or rooting, which will please many readers, but be aware that it may not work for all of you.

Finally Sprint HTC EVO 3D ICS update landing now via OTA

We are now seeing more Android hardware finally being treated to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which was originally released back in October of last year. Today we have some good news for owners of the Sprint HTC EVO 3D as the Android ICS update is landing now via OTA.

The carrier had previously promised the upgrade would be coming in early August, but it seems it has started to arrive early. Owners are reporting that the software is coming by means of an over the air update, and you should be prompted to install the update. Due to the size of the install users are advised to carry it out via a Wi-Fi connection as they can finally replace Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
