Facebook home would be launched as launcher on the Google Play Store. The app should go live on April 12. HTC also announced the HTC First which comes with Facebook Home pre-installed and the phone is exclusive to AT&T. There is no word about regional availability of the app and if the roll out would be restricted to US only.
One of the most popular Android phones the Google Nexus 4 made my LG seems left out of the initial launch party.
The app is a pretty interesting approach taken by Facebook but will users be willing to trade off their familiar Android skins for something designed by Facebook ? Would you use such a launcher ?
