Sony Ericsson launching Arc , Play in India on April 7th

Sony Ericsson just sent us an invite asking us to block our calendars for the 7th of April in India. Although the invite does not mention anything about the Arc or Play , most of you know that these handsets are coming soon to India as Pre-orders have begun.

The Arc is expected to be priced at Rs.25000-30000
The Xperia Play aka the Playstation phone is surely going to get the gamers excited. The device has the best gaming controls for a phone . The Play is expected to cost Rs.30000-35000

While we are excited about these handsets and we hope Sony Ericsson gets the pricing right. Are you excited about the Arc and Play ?

Samsung Galaxy S Plus on its way

Galaxy S, the best Android based player by Samsung, is coming in a new form, as Samsung Galaxy S Plus.

The addition of word Plus in the name is not just for fun. Samsung Galaxy S Plus has some Plus side to it as well. Let us see what is it offers in terms of Specs:
  • 1.4 GHz processor
  • Metallic back cover – No more plastic
  • 4 inch super AMOLED screen
  • 8 GB on-board memory
  • 1650 mAh battery
  • Android OS 2.3.x (Gingerbread)
The 1.4 Ghz processor is definitely a boost for mobile devices and would allow great game playing and HD video playback. The best part, for me, is the Metallic back cover. Samsung, due to its plastic body, kind of look cheap. But Samsung Galaxy S Plus would definitely change this image. And last but not least, Android OS 2.3.x (Gingerbread) is something I would go for blindly. It is the latest in the family of Gingerbread and is a great OS to play along with.
