What Does The "N" and the "E" Stand For?

The famous product line up, Nseries, was a legend, and do you even know what is N for or what does it stand for? Well, i’ve been baffled for years on what does the N stands for on Nokia Nseries, N97, N70, etc. and today I will solve your question and nightmares. Aside from that we will learn more about the other series today.

Last time I was struggling to find the answers on what does N stands for from Nseries. So thank you Larry Page and Sergey Brin for founding the search engine, Google! This is the point that I should not waste our time anymore, so this is the answer…

Nseries stands for Multimedia Computers.

In short, Nseries are way far more complicated to guest for the beginners. But akin to that are the other little shocking answers from the questions…

What is Cseries and what does C stands for?
What is Xseries and what does X stands for?
What is Eseries and what does E stands for?

C stands for Consumer series and not a Core nor the corps series that I’ve use before. This series is optimized for affordable price, but will give focus on social networking and sharing. For the Xseries, X stands for Multimedia and not the conventional series, and it targets that young who loves music and entertainment. While the Eseries is for Enterprise or enterprise-class series that’s deliver more on the business optimizations.

And for the other 4 digit series they have also some sort of meaning and this is how it goes…

Nokia 1000 series (your Nokia 1100, 1650, etc.) stands for Ultrabasic Series.
Nokia 2000 series – Basic series
Nokia 3000 series – Expression series
Nokia 5000 series – Active series
Nokia 6000 series – Classic Business series
Nokia 7000 series – Fashion and Experimental series
Nokia 8000 series – Premium series
Nokia 9000 series – Communicator series
