Since Samsung first announced the Galaxy S3 officially back in May huge numbers of Android fans have been trying to get their hands on the elusive device, and in the United States demand far out stripped supply that saw a number of delays in the handset reaching consumers, and today we have news that the 16GB Verizon White Samsung Galaxy S3 can be yours.

The handset on Verizon Wireless has had a rough ride as such following news it featured a locked bootloader, which then led to Samsung announcing the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Developer Edition. As an article over at Engadget is reporting some lucky customers of Big Red have already been receiving their orders for the new smartphone, but others have been met with another unexpected delay.

This year has seen Samsung receive almost the same level of speculation and rumours leading up to the official announcement of its new smartphones to what Apple are used too. The Samsung Galaxy Note has been a strong performer for the company sales wise, and today we have news of a possible Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Unpacked event on August 30.

The guys over at GSM Arena are reporting that a Korean Digital Daily website is claiming that Samsung is going to hold an Unpacked event for the Galaxy Note 2 ahead of its release. It is being tipped to take place on August 30th, which is the day before the IFA expo begins in Berlin, Germany.

Away from its various court battles with Apple over patent disputes,Samsung has been enjoying a great time of it lately with sales of its smartphones breaking records for the company, as it now poses a serious threat to Apple’s crown. Since it was released the Samsung Galaxy Note has gained a huge following and thoughts recently have been turning to its replacement model being released, but as an article over atGSM Arena is reporting the Galaxy Note isn’t problem free. It seems that the smartphone tablet PC crossover is being plagued by issues to its 5.3-inch display, which has only recently been discovered by the XDA community.

Apple have moved up iPhone 5 release date to August 7th, because of the Samsung Galaxy S3′s commercial windfall. Well, at least that’s what a UAE-based tech blog is claiming. The article is a couple of weeks old, but it went unnoticed so far.

After a Samsung officialannounced that the Samsung Galaxy S3 sales are expected to hit 10 million units by the end of July, the Cupertino-based company decided that it’s time to get in the race for the best smartphone much earlier.
