iH8sn0w has just released a new version of Sn0wbreeze 2.3, which now supports Ultrasn0wunlock for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.3. You should note the following things before starting with the Jailbreak:
- Sn0wbreeze 2.3b4 is tethered via iBooty
- Ultrasn0w only works with these basebands: 01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00
To unlock your iPhone with Ultrasn0w, you must ensure that you have already jailbroken your iPhone with a custom IPSW created using Sn0wbreeze 2.3 Beta 4 [Download link given below]. If you have not created a custom IPSW yet, follow the guide posted here. Once you have created a custom IPSW you are good to jailbreak your iPhone. After jailbreak, you can unlock your iPhone using Ultrasn0w 1.2.
Follow the steps below for unlocking you iPhone using Ultrasn0w:
- Go to Cydia -> Manage -> Source
- Now select the Edit and then Add a source ‘http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com’
- After the source has been added search for ‘ultrasn0w 1.2‘ and install it.
- Once you install this app you can use your iPhone with any carrier.
