Symbian Anna gets an official release date for N8

Nokia N8 France wrote yesterday on their Facebook wall that the N8 will finally get updated with Symbian Anna on July 7. Symbian Anna is what has previously been known as Symbian^3 PR 2.0.
One of the most awaited new features of Symbian Anna is the updated browser, which will bring the browser experience up to par with other mobile browsers. The default browser in Symbian^3 has been one of the most disliked features of Symbian. Icons all around the mobile OS will also see a facelift. The update will also include some N8 specific bits. The Nokia N8′s 12-megapixel camera will be able to shoot video with 30 frames per second and with continuous autofocus. On previous builds we got 24 fps, and lacked the continuous autofocus support.
Also the Nokia E7, C6-01 and C7 will get updated with Symbian Anna, but we don’t know for sure when their updates will be released.
