Supersonic Concept Plane Eliminating Sonic Boom

The 1st word that comes to your mind when you look at this concept is speed. This is simple one of the most aerodynamic flying aircrafts I have seen in a while. I would even say that this is the flying Pinocchio…
It will be a concept supersonic passenger or cargo carrier that will try to reduce the noise that supersonic planes usually do when they fly over land. Could this be what the future stores for us when it comes to air travel?
Supersonic Plane
Supersonic Plane
Produced by Frassanito & Associates it will offer a nice solution for future projects. Although for the time being this is at the state of concept things could turn out for the best if some good publicity is made. It may look silly at 1st but think of the nice “supersonic” impact it could have on all of us.

Computex 2011: LG V300 all-in-one PC with 3D multi-touch display and Core i7 CPU

LG has introduced a new all-in-one PC at Computex 2011, the V300, which is due to hit Korea in July, followed by other territories. With the V300, LG has managed to squeeze in a lot of technology into a tiny 1.8-inch thick frame.

It has a 23-inch display of the IPS FPR (Film-type Patterned Reader) type, and is capable of 3D output requiring only passive polarized glasses. Coupled with Colour Shift technology, it provides an impressive 178 degree viewing angle, even for 3D. It uses a triple camera system for accurate multi-touch capability.
The top-end configuration of the AIO has an Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge processor onboard, combined with a 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6650M graphics card, 8GB of RAM, a 750GB hard drive, as well as a Blu-ray player.
Bearing and Intel Sandy Bridge processor, the V300 offers Wi-Di, or wireless display technology as well, apart from good old DLNA, to allow you to stream media between your AIO and TV, or other devices.

iOS 5, iCloud, OS X Lion Confirmed for WWDC 2011

As most who follow all things Apple, the iOS company is holding the Worldwide Developer Conference 2011 at Moscone West in San Francisco as usual and will start on the 6th of June and run until the 10th of June, and we now have word on what Apple will be announcing at their event.
According to the guys over on Ubergizmo, Apple has now posted a PR, which confirms that iOS 5, iCloud, which is Apple’s upcoming could services, and Mac OS X Lion will all, be unveiled during WWDC 2011.
According to the press release, Apple boss Steve Jobs and Apple execs will open the event with a keynote on the Monday, at 10.00AM, so does this mean that Steve Jobs will be making the WWDC 2011 keynote?
No doubt people are still holding onto hope that Apple might unveil the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S that the iOS smartphone is being referred to more and more, but with no mention of either in the PR it does look rather unlikely it will happen, and the WWDC 2011 will purely be a software event.

Apple iPhone 4 to arrive in India by May 27, with Airtel and Aircel

After various announcements, the last of which was more than a month and a half ago, operatorsAirtel and Aircel are finally making good on their claims of bringing the iPhone 4 to India. The duo will be launching it by May 27, or Friday, almost a year after it was launched in the United States, last June. So far, only Aircel has revealed pricing, and as expected, it has a slight premium attached.
The 16GB Apple iPhone 4 will retail for Rs. 34,500, and, the 32GB version will retail for Rs. 40,900. A requisite bumper, to avoid the ‘death grip’, will be charged for separately. This news fortunately is not too confusing for potential customers, as at that price, there are plenty of other phones with better specs, including the just-launched Samsung Galaxy S II, available for around Rs. 33,000.
Customers opting for a new connection will get a micro SIM for the device, and we expect some provision from the operators to help cut SIM cards for existing customers. We were hoping the iPhone 4 would launch with some sort of contract, enabling customers to buy it at a lower price. Aircel has come up with some plans, but we aren’t too sure they will entice customers.
Aircel postpaid customers will be able to get the phone for “free” in the Premium Money Back plan, by paying up front, and then availing voice and data plans that are equal to the phone’s value, valid for 24 months. The Advantage Money Back plan is the same thing, at half the phone’s value and for one year validity. Let us hope Airtel comes up with better plans.

Samsung Galaxy S II launches in India, priced at Rs. 32,890

It has finally happened, and no later than expected – the Samsung Galaxy S II (16GB) is officially on its way to India. It is destined for shelves with a June 10 retail release date and Rs. 32,890 price tag, and can be pre-ordered now. The Galaxy S II can however be procured a week earlier, if you go the Vodafone way…having scored an exclusive launch deal, Vodafone will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S II online at the same Rs. 32,890 price tag, from June 3.

What’s pleasantly surprising is the almost modest price of the Galaxy S II, a phone that can rest easy with the expectations of being Samsung’s flagship handheld. Endowed with specs more than sufficient to take on any competitor in the market (definitely, the more expensive Indian iPhone 4), we’re glad a top-end premium was not stuck onto this product. Elsewhere, a high price was one of the few cons in a long list of positive reviews of the product.
Salient features of this Android 2.3 Gingerbread include a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus 480x800 display, a dual-core 1.2GHz Exynos processor with a Mali 400 GPU, 8MP camera 1080p HD video recording, and 16GB of inbuilt storage for the base model.
