Line Phone, the next generation concept phone

I have seen a lot of concepts phone, but some concepts are just mind blowing, like the Mozilla Seabirdconcept phone. Today, I will show you another concept phone, and I am sure that this phone is going to blow your mind away. Presenting the Line Phone and this concept phone is made in China. Most of the people think that Chinese stuff is just lame, but folks this one is really heart touching. The phone also won a gold award of Digital Product and Service Design Competition at the 2010 Furong Cup in the Republic of China. So folks, watch the video after the break and tell us what you think about the concept phone. Have a look:

Nokia C8 Concept

The phone above is the Nokia C8 Concept Phone. It is definitely the best looking concept phone we have seen in quite sometime if not the best looking ever.
The design borrows elements from both the CSeries phones as well as the luxury 8xxx series of phones from Nokia and combines them into one device. One would say the formula is Nokia C7+8800+8600 Luna.
The whole shape is take from the Nokia C7, the silver elements from the 8800 and the glass elements from the 8600 Luna. We are not aware who the creator of this wonderful concept is as we haven’t seen an official publication anywhere.
Anyway as far as the specifications are concerned, from the picture we can say that the phone has a 12 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, Video Call Camera, Light Sensor, Mirror Finish Touchscreen.

Nokia N8 New Firmware PR1.1 due 24th January 2011? PR2.0 February 15th and PR3.0 in summer?

Some more rumours/speculations on the Nokia N8 firmware. This coming from GSM Arena (cheers to @UGN999 for the tip) comment section so just take note of that.

They’ve provided a changelog, though nothing new that we haven’t seen before, more a collection of what folks have said about the PR1.1 released on navifirm or what Alex68 has already told us. Other than possibly suggest that the new browser, draggable homescreen is NOT coming to PR1.1. As noted before, it would make sense having such a big change included in the 50+ improvements box, and Alex68 had been silent on those features. What we have received in the past couple of weeks though are little mini Software updates. Two occasions if you’re lucky. Perhaps testing the servers for the bigger releases?
Alex68 has mentioned that the earliest this was supposed to be due is today. Note the earliest, so it could and will be due later than that. The GSM Arena comment gives the following dates for the new firmware:
PR1.1: January 24th (Monday next week, 3 days) Seriously, this has to be out soon. It might be due so close to PR2.0 there’s no point having PR1.1, just bundle the damn thing into PR2.0
PR2.0: February 15th (during MWC) – The 50+ Update pack.
PR3.0: Summer << Anything before September? PR 3.0 is when Symbian UI completely changes to what was expected to be Symbian^4. This time last year it appeared that Symbian^3 handsets would not be able to update to Symbian^4 but what with the changes, we’re now going to receive ALL updates as and when they’re ready.
They have provided a changelog
NEXT FIRMWARE PR 1.1 IS COMING ON 24 JAN.

Samsung Infuse 4G Android Mobile Specs, Design, Price & Pictures [Preview]

2011 International CES wows the World with innovation and optimism. Amidst the best mobile devices and tech-gadgets, Samsung announced its Samsung Infuse 4G Android Mobile(seems to succeed theSamsung i897 Captivate ) with some great features. This is a device worth the wait. The first Samsung phone in ages that doesn’t feel cheap and is really good.
When Super AMOLED screen was first introduced just last year on the Wave, it felt like new wings on the bird. But, not very much late, Infuse boasts to have a super AMOLED plus screen and it would be the firsthandset to incorporate AMOLED plus screen – the technology that features a 50 percent boost in sub-pixel count, thereby promising enhanced/improved contrast and outdoor readability.
Other important attention -seeker is its whopping 4.5 inches dispaly, surpassing the  HTC’s 4.3-inch range (the EVO 4G, Desire HD, and likely the Thunderbolt). This handset also claims to be the thinnestsmartphone under AT&T.

Ram requirement for various OS

How much RAM installed in your PC?
How much RAM allocated?

Everything depends on the operating system and use of the PC.

The greater the amount of memory, the greater the gain in performance is significant. But installing more than 512 million (or 1024 for a recent system) will benefit not only for the use of 3D software gourmands resources (games, video editing, design software .).

The following values are minima's given as indicative.
These values can vary depending on the processor and peripherals installed.

OS: Windows XP
Use: Office + surf Internet
RAM: mini 256 million, 512 million for the use of multiple applications.

OS: Windows XP
Use: 3D Games moderately greedy, image processing current (photo).
RAM: 512 million mini.

OS: Windows XP
Use: 3D Games recent video editing.
RAM: 1024 million mini.

OS: Windows 2000 Pro
Use: Office + surf Internet
RAM: mini 192 million, 256 million for the use of multiple applications.

OS: Windows Vista (with Aero interface)
Use: 3D Games recent + video editing
RAM: 1.5 to 2 Gio following the game (with a powerful graphics card).

Ideally, it will set the size of the swap to 1.5 times the amount of RAM installed.
To adjust the size of the swap, go to:
  • Start> Control Panel> System

Under Vista: Advanced System Settings
Under other Windows: Advanced
  • Under "Performance", click "Settings"
  • Go under the Advanced tab
  • Under "Virtual Memory", click "Edit"
  • Set the amount of RAM on a hard and fast with enough free space,
  • according to the following criteria:

Initial size = 1.5 times the amount of RAM installed.
Size = 2 times the original size.
